Council Collection Service We can move your existing bed to the curb for council pickup. Please note that council regulations require items to be placed out no more than 24 hours before your scheduled collection date, so you'll need to arrange your council pickup beforehand and let us know the date.
Waste Facility Disposal We can take your old bed directly to a local waste facility for immediate disposal. This service costs approximately $200 per mattress (facility fees) plus our standard delivery charge.
If you'd like to arrange removal, please mention it when placing your order so we can coordinate the logistics with your delivery.
Therapist Choice beds are delivered fully assembled and can be set up in just a few minutes, making the process quick and straightforward. To make the setup even easier, we have step-by-step video guides available online. You'll simply need to remove the bed from the box, attach the 6 adjustable legs, and plug it into the wall outlet.

If, after 10 years, you find that the motors need replacing, they can be easily purchased directly from our website for just $90 each. If you require a replacement motor during the warranty period, contact us and we can post you a replacement free of charge or arrange for a technician to replace the motor at your residence. Yes, we have a large network of independent Occupational Therapists available at short notice who can conduct assessments and provide detailed reports. Our OT reports are fully compliant with various funding programs including Support at Home, Restorative Care, End of Life funding, NDIS, and other government support schemes. Please contact our support team to arrange an appointment that suits your schedule and location. You are under no obligation to purchase through us as a result of us coordinating your OT assessment. OT's do not receive additional financial incentive or otherwise. OTs do provide recommendations from competitors.
Typically, we can arrange an Occupational Therapy assessment within 7 days.
For faster turnaround, we also offer compliant reports through physiotherapist assessments, which can be scheduled on even shorter notice. Please note that physiotherapist assessments are specifically for bed recommendations and do not cover other household items or modifications.
After your appointment, reports are typically submitted within 5-10 business days. During this period, we can assist with registration with your chosen aged care or NDIS provider to streamline the approval process.
Urgent cases: Depending on the urgency—for example, after discharge from hospital—we may be able to triage your appointment to expedite the process. Please contact us to discuss your circumstances further.

Our fees are approximately the industry median for aged care and NDIS at $194 per hour.

• Covers all goods, equipment, and home modifications required (e.g., bed, railings, ramps, chair, table, pads, appliances, aids, garments, etc.)
Physiotherapy Assessment:
• 2-3 hours (includes assessment, travel, and report writing)
• Limited to one item only (i.e., bed assessment)
• Does not include home modifications
